Square today announced a new Apple Business integration that makes it easier for businesses to ensure they have up-to-date information across Apple Maps, Apple Wallet, and Siri AI.
Apple Business is connected to Square's Dashboard: "Rather than managing multiple channels separately, sellers can now maintain their Apple presence alongside the rest of their business in Square."
Sounds as if a business uses Square as their POS and say updates their holiday hours those hours will now automatically populate in Apple Maps. Seems like a good thing.
Automatically sync key business details for each connected location, such as hours, address, and phone number, so this information stays up-to-date and accurate across Apple Maps, Siri AI, Apple Wallet, and other Apple apps and services without manual updates.
