Apple today unveiled new Beats 360 over-ear headphones, and it is offering introductory pricing on extra ear cushions.
Now through October 31, extra Performance Knit and UltraPlush ear cushions with matching headbands in a variety of colors are available on Apple's online store in the U.S. for just $9.99 each, with customers limited to three kits per order while supplies last. Lower pricing extends to select other countries. Starting November 1, regular pricing of $49.99 will apply.
I can dig that. I just had a conversation about this at a retailer the other day… why are beats always ‘fake prices’?
Great promotion because I wasn’t planning on getting a pair of these, but knowing I can spend $20 for a couple of extra sets of cushions means I’ll probably buy some and add the headphones to my wish list
No, why are they 80% off at launch?
Because, just like any headphone user knows, the ear cushions are the very first element, along the headband cushion, to get spoiled by sweat and general wear. Being able to easily replace them, dry them, or even wash them, is great news.
