seems like I'm not the only one who is frustrated by buggy mission control in macos 27? it's honestly embarrassing a company like Apple shipped an OS release with a core functionality so buggy. especially for an OS where the main focus is on refinements.

Just installed, Mission Control does seem much more stable. There is still sluggishness.

Going to sleep seems to set up the chain reaction. The biggest issue in my few minutes of use is that the CTRL-Arrows do not always work to switch space. You first have to either switch them manually or use the swipe to do the first switch then the arrow keys work.

Clicking on the Finder to get to the desktop seems to work more consistently.

As an aside. I attempted the first update about 1/5 hours ago and my Mac forgot and just did a normal restart. I blame myself, I thought I was being helpful so I logged out of my work user account and went back to my home user, so that update would be fast. I should have known better.

Then when the second attempt was ready to proceed I accidentally mis-clicked on the dialog window instead of the "Restart" button. The window disappeared as though I had dismissed it.... WTF. That's what the "Restart Later" button is for. I had a mini stroke as Software Update started looking for updates again. Luckily it remembered that it had already downloaded it, but Apple used to be about the little things. Why does my clumsy clicking dismiss a window that clearly has its own way to dismiss it?

The issues with Mission Control are very much apparent. I feel like.....bugs happen, but to release a major new version with such surface level UI problems is very bad, especially a release that Apple touted as being all about refinements indeed. Posting this after having to hard reboot my Mac after a spinning beachball that locked up the system hard....couldnt even bring up the force quit dialogue box. I honestly don't remember the last time I had one of these (years?) On restart, MacOS seems not to have even registered the hang as a crash.

What? It restarted but it didn't actually install anything? Let's try that again... see in ~20?
