Was helping some lady put new batteries in her Subaru key fob, she said she lost her other fob at the gym.
Showed her my AirTag with an onn holder and showed her how it makes sound and you can locate it with your iPhone, told her they had a four pack for $69 at Walmart at one time, she’s going to go get some and start using them. :rolleyes:

Yeah, my sister found an AirTag in her car after seeing her hubby drive by somewhere he had no reason to know she was.
They're still together, which is...you know... certainly something...

I spent a week in chicago and on the third day, on the way to my meeting, my uber driver, kept checking his glove box. He’d pull up to a red light and then look around inside of it, then, go back to driving. He did this like 4 or 5 times before saying “hey don’t mind me brotha, I’m just making sure I’m not getting tracked.” At one point he pulled out everything.

At first I didn’t know what he was talking about so I just told him he’s alright it’s no problem. I really didn’t know what he was talking about. I thought he meant the dealership tracking device but what he was doing in my perspective was quite futile for finding one cause they’re usually somewhere else.

After he did it one more time, I asked, cause I really wanted to tell him a dealership is probably going to put one elsewhere. So, he ended up telling me that people use trackers, and he showed me a airtag. The one in particular was what he said a person he went on a date with put in his car to track him and get him set up. But the person he was with was known for doing this, and his whole date was actually a trick to oust them. So he was informed the whole time, while they thought he wasn’t.

I would have never known AirTags could be used like that, pretty crazy stuff.

Great price expect mine have started to alert me as I'm driving away from home that my keys are left behind (they're in my pocket, obviously) and my backpack was left behind (it's in the back seat). Seems restarting my iPhone helps, but the issue comes back. Annoying and stupid.
