Apple Just Released a New Product
Apple's first product release of summer 2026 occurred this week, but do not get too excited, as it is merely the Beats Solo Buds in a new color.

Beats Solo Buds are now offered in orange through Best Buy in the U.S., with availability set to expand to 7-Eleven stores in Japan on July 4.
Apple already offered orange Solo Buds in India for free with the purchase of an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus back in October 2024, as part of a promotion in celebration of Diwali. Those limited-edition earbuds offered in India included purple Beats "b" logos on the earbuds and case, while the new ones feature red "b" logos.
Beats Solo Buds first launched in June 2024 in Matte Black, Storm Gray, and Transparent Red color options, as well as an Arctic Purple that has been exclusive to Apple and Target. Late last year, another retailer-exclusive Ivory color debuted.
Regularly priced at $79.99 in the U.S., the Solo Buds are an entry-level product from Beats. The in-ear buds feature up to 18 hours of battery life, but they lack active noise cancellation, and the carrying case does not have a battery. As a result, the earbuds can only be charged when the case is connected to a wired power source.
