Apple has yet to release any new devices in 2025, but at least two new products are expected to be announced next week, according to rumors.
Below, we outline the new Apple products that are likely to be unveiled next week.
iPhone SE 4
Apple plans to announce the long-rumored iPhone SE 4 as soon as next week, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
The new iPhone SE is rumored to feature a mix of iPhone 14 and iPhone 16 features, including a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, a USB-C port, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and the first Apple-designed 5G modem. With the A18 chip, and a rumored 8GB of RAM, the device is also expected to support Apple Intelligence.
The current iPhone SE looks similar to the iPhone 8, with outdated features such as a Touch ID button, Lightning port, and thick bezels around the display. The device has an A15 Bionic chip, so the A18 would be a significant upgrade. Pricing starts at $429, but a price increase towards $499 seems probable for the next model.
Powerbeats Pro 2
Last year, Apple teased that Powerbeats Pro 2 would be released in 2025. Earlier this week, Gurman said Apple plans to announce the wireless earbuds this coming Tuesday, February 11. In the U.S., the Powerbeats Pro 2 are expected to cost $249.
Powerbeats Pro are a sportier, fitness-focused alternative to AirPods Pro, with built-in, adjustable ear hooks for a secure fit. According to Gurman, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will be equipped with the same H2 chip as used in the AirPods Pro 2, which will enable improved active noise cancellation compared to the original Powerbeats Pro.
Apple's teaser video last year revealed that the Powerbeats Pro 2 have a slimmer design compared to the original Powerbeats Pro from 2019.
Based on our iOS 18 code findings last year, Powerbeats Pro 2 will feature heart rate monitoring during workouts, in supported apps.
iOS 18 code also revealed that Powerbeats Pro 2 will be available in four new color options, including a vibrant "Electric Orange."
Based on other recent Beats headphones, other potential upgrades for the Powerbeats Pro 2 over the originals include improved sound quality, longer battery life, and a USB-C port instead of Lightning on the charging case.
Wild Cards: MacBook Air, iPad Air, and iPad 11
New models of the MacBook Air, iPad Air, and entry-level iPad are "coming soon," according to Gurman. He said MacBook Air and iPad Air inventory is running low at many of Apple's stores. It is unclear if any of these devices will be announced next week, but if they aren't, they should launch by March or April at the latest.
Newer chips are expected for all of the devices, including the M4 chip for the MacBook Air, the M3 chip for the iPad Air, and either the A16 Bionic chip or A17 Pro chip for the entry-level iPad 11. No other significant changes have been rumored.
