iOS 18 to Feature New Dynamic Color-Shifting iPhone Wallpaper
Apple is including a new "dynamic" iPhone wallpaper in iOS 18 that automatically changes its appearance at various times by shifting colors.
In the first and second betas of iOS 18, Apple offered four different color variations of the new default two-tone wallpaper, including yellow, pink, azure, and purple. Beta 3 adds a fifth option, called "dynamic."
It's not yet clear what triggers the color shift in the dynamic iOS 18 wallpaper, but it changes automatically depending on the time of day. In other words, you don't have to stick with one of the four color variations, and can instead enjoy all of them at different times. Check out the video below by ShrimpApplePro to see how it looks.
Apple is expected to release a public beta of iOS 18 later this month, with a general release slated to arrive in the fall, around mid-September, when the
iPhone 16 series is unveiled.
