It would have been fine if Apple had replaced the 9th gen with the 10th gen, but instead, apple decided to make the 10th gen "another tier" in the iPad lineup instead of replacing the 9th gen, no wonder we have 6 (soon 7) different iPads that have different features from each other. Heck, the 12.9 pro has a better screen than the 11-inch, but are still both the "same" product". Apple needs a complete refresh of the iPad lineup at this point.

EXACTLY! I wouldn't be surprised if iPad sales have been down all because the lineup makes it very confusing for a consumer to make a choice.
Meanwhile, one of the iPads with a devout fanbase that keeps clamoring for an update (iPad Mini)... continues to get ignored.

This iPad seems to get so much hate... but it is actually pretty good for normal people ... just a bit mis-priced (esp. the markup for cellular).

EXACTLY! I wouldn't be surprised if iPad sales have been down all because the lineup makes it very confusing for a consumer to make a choice. I feel like it even makes it harder for an Apple Store employee to help make a recommendation on which iPad would be right for the potential buyer.

They really need to simplify the lineup and make each tier stand apart from the others more.
