The new ‌MacBook Air‌ was announced and previewed during WWDC earlier this month, with Apple stating availability will begin in July. The ‌MacBook Air‌ features a redesigned body that is thinner and lighter than the previous model. Thanks to the ‌M2‌ chip, the ‌MacBook Air‌ features up to 18 hours of battery life, according to Apple. With a launch planned for July 15, pre-orders can be expected to go live on Friday, July 8.

The new ‌MacBook Air‌ starts at $1199, with the highest configuration costing $2499. The previous M1-powered ‌MacBook Air‌ remains in Apple's lineup for $999 for customers looking for a cheaper option.

I dont like the magsafe. They are literally selling you 10 year old tech as new.
Quit using keyboards, man. Bastards are literally selling us 150 year old tech as new.

That being said, it isn’t “literally” the same. It’s a magnet that is literally a different size and is capable of charging at literally a different speed than previous generations. Also, MagSafe is optional.

If you want a BTO, better order right away!

Let’s hope the base model doesn’t suffer from the slow SSD issue.

$1400 if you want 16gb of ram lol…no sorry

You can get a MBP 14 on discount or mint (used on swappa) with double the storage, pro motion, sd card slot etc…for a few dollars more
Precisely. I was going to get the $1499 M2 Air, but Best Buy had the 14" MacBook Pro on sale for $1799. Faster processor, twice the RAM, same 512GB SSD, larger screen, Mini-LED, ProMotion 120Hz, etc... it was a no-brainer.

The notch is completely not noticeable after just a short amount of time. It’s pretty remarkable.
Yep, the only time I really notice the notch on my 16" MBP is when one of the people in this forum mentions it....
