For the Lunar New Year, Apple is asking Apple Watch owners to do any workout for at least 20 minutes between February 1 and February 15 to win the award. It is not clear if this is a worldwide challenge or a challenge that will be limited to countries where Lunar New Year is celebrated.

I'd definitely change my watch region just to get that tiger award if it's only restricted to countries that celebrate the Lunar New Year. I bet it looks amazing rendered in 3D!

So the answer is no.

The award is just something to brag about... tell all your Instagram followers about.

Gotcha! ?
No, it is just a fun little motivational treat to push everyone with the watch to be more active. Even without the awards, sometimes i do a brisk walk in the evening to “close the rings”. It is just a way to bring a bit of fun to exercising.
