Only Silver and Gold are available at this price on Amazon. This sale marks a new all-time low price for Apple's 2020 M1 MacBook Air, providing the cheapest entry price into the lineup since it debuted last year.

Likewise, the 512GB version of the M1 MacBook Air is seeing a notable discount to $1,099.99, down from $1,249.00. This is a record low price for the notebook, and it's available in all colors.

They are basically giving it away at this point. I really need to publish my MBP M1 review here on Macrumors before the new revs are released. I suspect new revs are going to experience a similar cycle of discounts.

To those waiting on those 16 and 14 inch models, I would implore you to wait a bit if you can and grab deals that are gonna be showing up Amazon, BestBuy 6 months after. Trust me, if you have waited this long, your 2013, 2014 and 2015 can wait 6 months.

I bought mine for 799$ with 0% sales tax and must say they're jolly good machines. Super cold to the touch and when you go back to your Intel MBP you feel the lag in the Intel system. Everything is slower. Apple need to be applauded for taking their first steps into ARM computing with the M1 chip.
