    Airport Software 3.1.1 - This software update provides improved AirPort wireless networking software, and is recommended for all users with an AirPort Extreme enabled computer or an AirPort Extreme base station.

The update includes v 5.1.1 of the Airport Extreme base station firmware. Features are reported to include, IEEE 802.11g compliance, Interference Robustness, simpler WDS setup and more.

The update represents a .0.1 upgrade from the previous Airport updated released in June, which features many of the same improvements.
