ePods?

Continuing with the growing trend of service-tied products - ePods, Inc. is introducing a $199 Windows CE Tablet aimed at novices.

The $199 prices comes with a 36 month service commitment, however. Personally, I'm not sure about the target audience... as well as the lack of physical keyboard. A tablet device might be a bit less appealing to novices.

As a unit, though, it looks good... now if, we could have a $199 mac-based unit with wireless service - well, then we're talking...
